The white off-the-shoulder tops of summer are being tucked away until next year and the flannel shirts are being shaken out and paired with short and heavy fall skirts. It’s chilly and hazy while you drink your first cup of coffee, hot and dry when you run out to your car at lunch and rainy and cool on your commute home. We’ve got a pile of layers to pull on or that we’ve taken off in our passenger seats. Go bold or go subtle in accessorizing your home in the same manner. A lamp with natural wood and hints of silver dresses up a neutrally hued study. A throw pillow with streaks of shining silver and gold pairs with an arm chair in fuchsia or add something fancy to a navy couch. Glam up your whole kitchen with a silver-tiled backsplash from counter to ceiling and your neighbors will never forget it.
